How to Drape A Saree | The Hanging Pallu Nivi Drape
A classic hanging pallu for a relaxed yet formal look ✨
Products used:
Step #1:
Establish the base of your saree. Start at your right hip and tuck it in going once around your body.
Step #2:
Tuck, tuck, tuck.
Step #3:
Gather your saree and hang the fabric over your shoulder.
Step #4:
Grab the closest edge of your pallu and bring it around the back of your body to bring it to the front.
Step #5:
Bring the left loop of the fabric you have and place it over your right thigh and pin it.
Step #6:
Bring the saree to the right of your hip and start pleating!
Step #7
Pin the pleat together and tuck it in to your silhouette.
Step #8
Now that the bottom part of the drape is done, grab the fabric on your shoulder and bring it around your body to put it over your shoulder and pin it.
Step #9:
There you go! Now you have your very own hanging pallu!
