How To Drape A Saree | The Waterfall Drape (Over Cancan)
Learn how to do the Waterfall Drape over a Cancan!
Products Used:
Step #1:
Grab one corner of your saree and pin it to your left shoulder.
Tip: If you're using a lightweight saree, gather some pleats at the corner and pin it a couple inches down to avoid damaging it.
Step #2:
Take the other end of your saree and start pleat until you have about a yard of fabric in the space between your pleats and your waist
Step #3:
Release the first 2 pleats (about a yard of fabric) and tuck the remaining pleats into the middle back of your Cancan skirt.
Step #4:
Take the end of the saree by the pleats, pleat it and tuck it into the left side of your Cancan skirt.
Step #5
Add a waist chain for a more defined look and there you have the Waterfall Drape over a Cancan!
